Honestly, I don’t really trust food trucks. Putting a kitchen into a small vehicle can’t bringt the same quality you would expect from a real kitchen. BUT: It seems that exceptions prove the rule. Since one of my favorite burgers in Vienna comes right out of a…food truck: HyKitchen.
HyKitchen offers high quality burgers – usually three different ones and fries. That’s it. Sometimes they also have specials like pulled pork burgers.
I especially like the bun, which is a brioche but not sweet at all. The patty is incredibly juicy and has a wonderful smoky aroma. Together with melted cheese and crispy bacon it makes a near-to-perfect burger. The fries are also very good, fresh and crispy. I also like that they offer a homemade sauce with the fries, something in between cocktail and bbq.
A burger/fries/coke combo is around 14 € and definitley worth the price!
